How to get attention
3 keys to response
Frustration is inevitable, and understandable, in this challenging job market. Often we're asked, "why didn't you respond to my resume?"  We try, but it's impossible to respond to every request for attention. We do read them. Here's what we're looking for.
  • Does your experience match the job?
Employers pay us to find candidates who can do the job NOW.  Little or no training required.  Sure, you could learn to do it, but our clients don't have the luxury of training time.
  • Does your resume make sense?
If your resume is difficult to read, compared to another that reads smoothly, you are at a disadvantage.  Here's a tip--ask a friend who does not understand your work to read your resume.  If that person is confused, rewrite.
  • Did you apply to every job on our list?
We cater to employers who work in niches of packaging and plastics. By definition, we're usually looking for specialists. Those who claim to be experts in every field usually are qualified in none.
